Jonathan Mensah left in tears after leading Columbus Crew to win 2020 MLS Cup

Ghanaian defender Jonathan Mensah shed tears as he drove Columbus Crew to win the 2020 Major League Soccer Cup on Sunday.

Mensah delivered an offered move in the guard to help Porter's men keep a spotless sheet in their 3-0 win over Seattle Sounders.

The 30-year-old was found in the picture below crying as he turned into the primary captain to drove Crew to win their subsequent MLS Cup having secured their first title in 2008.

Afful got the hosts looking flying so far at Mapfre Stadium by helping Lucas Zelarayan for the opening goal in the 25th minute

Derrick Etienne multiplied the lead for the Crew in the 31st moment as Zelarayan packed away his support a short ways from full-time.

Mensah has set up himself as a vital participant with all due respect this season with more than 25 group appearances added to their repertoire.

As a prize for winning the MLS Cup, Columbus Crew turns into the fourth American first class club to meet all requirements for the 2021 Concacaf Champions League.
