According to sources in France, Paris Saint-Germain star Angel Di Maria was forced to flee his team's game last night after learning that his family had been robbed violently.

Worryingly, according to RMC Sport, which was translated by the Daily Mirror, Di Maria's family was at home at the time and was attacked in an "especially brutal" robbery. According to the article, PSG star Marquinhos' family was also burgled, and other players at the club have also experienced similar accidents in the last 18 months. However, the Di Maria case seems especially alarming, and one can only hope that none of his family members were seriously involved in whatever events happened.
Di Maria was also burgled in 2015 while still a Manchester United player, according to the Mirror.
This must be incredibly painful for Di Maria and his family, and everyone at CaughtOffside sends their best wishes to him and his family during this tough time.
