Ronaldo hit 100 plus goals for the Portugal national team

Cristiano Ronaldo hit a brace for Portugal, helping his side earn a 2-0 victory over Sweden.

In a night where the Juventus star man Cristiano Ronaldo reached a landmark with the Portuguese national team, scoring his 100 and 101 goals for the Selecao's in their Nations League tie against Sweden.

Ronaldo has now become the second player on planet Earth to score 100 plus international goals, and he is now eight goals behind all-time record holder Ali Daei.

The 35-year-old achieved this feet, by scoring against 42 different Countries, across different competitions.

Ronaldo now has 101 goals with 40 assists in 165 outings for the Portugal national team. He is also the first player from Europe to score 100 goals plus international goals, after his brace for Portugal last night.

The 35-year-old has now set his sight on the Iranian record of 109 goals saying: "I managed to beat this milestone of 100 goals and now I will go for the record, it is step-by-step. I am not obsessed because I believe the records come in a natural way."
