The GPL is getting interesting and better by the day. A true characteristic of a good league is around good players. They brighten up the league and make it competitive.
Players from various teams have lit up the league by putting up some good and explicit performance.
Salifu Ibrahim, Rashid Nortey, Patrick Razak, Daniel Afriyie Banie, Kwadwo Oben Jnr, Richard Boadu, Diawisie Taylor, Mudasiru Salifu, Kwame Poku, Abdul Ganiyu, Augustine Okrah, Fabio Gama and a host of others have brought about great sensation in the league.
Among the players is Fabio Dos Santos Gama of Kumasi Asante Kotoko. Gama started slowly by warming himself into the tournament. It seems he is getting better by the day.
One ardent supporter of the player is the former coach of the club. After winning against Dreams FC, the coach praised the player for his exploits.
"Is there any player in the GPL who is a splinter passer like the El - Matador Fabio Gama Dos Santos? No there is no one." - Coach Isaac Opeele Boateng
