Hearts of Oak resume training after strange disease scare.

Accra Hearts of Oak have resumed training after a strange sickness attacked the playing body. This caused a host of their first-team squad to be hospitalised for several days. After consultation with Ghana Health Service, their upcoming matches were postponed for 7 days. They have resumed training after getting clearance from the Ghana Health Sevice.

Their communication director Opare Addo in an interview on Citi FM said they will honour the game against Karela United on Monday. “Following a round of tests conducted by doctors from the Ghana Health Service, we have been given the green light to resume training and continue preparations for our games. Everyone is fine now. The information we have received from the Ghana Football Association is that we will play our next game against Karela United on Monday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium, and that will be after the seven days that was given by the Ghana Health Service" he said.
