Joseph Esso was willing and ready to Stay - Ex-Hearts Defender

Former Hearts of oak defender, Benjamin Agyare has stated that Joseph Esso was willing to extend his contract with the Continental Club masters but the phobian didn’t do enough to keep the Striker. 

According to him, the club will regret for losing such a great talent like Esso. 

“I was shocked when the management allowed Esso to leave. Esso was willing and ready to Play for hearts, they should have try as much as possible to keep him” He told ABN Ghana. 

“Even the Ghc 50 they gave us for transportation, they should have added it to Esso to stay. Esso has been one of the best players in our team. They will regret for letting Joseph Esso to leave the club”. 

Earlier this week, Accra Hearts of Oak  confirmed the release of five players including their top marksman Joseph Esso.

The management of the team meet players like, Joseph Esso, Benjamin Agyare, Christopher Bonney, Bernard Arthur, and Abubakar Traore, and thanked them for their services as both sides opted not to extend their contracts.

So as we speak Joseph Esso and all the four players are now free agents and can join any a Ghanaian or foreign team.
