The diminutive attacker has been a revelation for the “Ogya” Boys since joining them on a free transfer after being released by the record Ghana Premier League holders. Gyamfi, once a player of the defunct Wa All Stars, has so far scored six goals in nine games for the two time Ghana champions this season. He managed less goals, 5 in 31 appearances at Asante Kotoko last season and he has explained his rise in form for Aduana FC.
“My team mates have been crucial, i had a good pre-season as well. I am scoring now because now i am playing as an attacker now while i was used predominantly as a midfielder in at Kotoko. “I wanted to play as an attacker in Kotoko but they denied me that opportunity”, He told Akoma FM.
Aduana Stars have lost just once, drawn twice and won six games, racking up 20 points in the process. They are joint top of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League table with in form side, King Faisal after nine games played. Aduana Stars had a nerve wracking week nine encounter against Berekum Chelsea where they had to squeeze to win 3-2 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa. Their next opponent are two time FA Cup winners, Medeama SC at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa in week 10.
