Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko has announced the signing of Orlando Wellington as a first team assistant coach.
The experienced gaffer, joins the technical team of the Porcupines for the reminder of the season and beyond as they look to successfully defend the league title they won last season.
Coach Wellington, comes in with a lot of experience having coached the Ghana U-20 national team in the past as well as for top-flight campaigners Heart of Lions.
Asante Kotoko resumed training on Monday (today), to prepare for the resumption of the betPawa Premier League which is currently on hold following Ghana's participation in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qater.
Head coach Seydou Zerbo took the players through their paces after being given a two-week break.
Training is expected to continue this week with a couple of friendly matches being lined up by the club before the season resumes.
The 2022/23 football season is expected to resume on December 20 with the Matchday Nine fixtures.
