Ghanaian teenager Kamaldeen Sulemana has been omitted from the top three final list for CAF Young Player of The Award. The final three are Pape Matar Sarr of Senegal, Hannibal of Tunisia and Karim Konate of Cote D’ivoire. A final winner of the Young Player of the Year Award will be picked from the final trio.

Pape Matar Sarr plies his trade for Tottenham Hotspur while Hannibal plays for Manchester United, with Karim Konate trading for Salzburg.

Kamaldeen Sulemana, who plays for Rennes for French Ligue 1, enjoyed a remarkable season despite encountering fe injuries. He dominated headlines in French newspapers with his silky football as well as his speed.
