In a typical African setting, being assertive and uproarious is something seen as a bad thing and not welcomed in our culture. When a person tries to speak his mind, that person is known to be too knowing.
The game of football is a tactical game and after a match has been played, it is up to the coaches to explain the tactical plays exhibited in the game.
Coach Ignatius Osei Fosu has continually expressed his tactical prowess after games. In his expression, some football lovers become contemptuous.
He was once warned after he defeated Maxwell Konadu in the first encounter of the league. In his desire to explain his tactical play, prominent men in his coaching career warned him not to go to that extent.
Ignatius commented immediately after the game that the Kumasi Asante Kotoko had no tactical pattern in their play.
This comment did not go well with some lovers of the game. In the post-analysis section of the game, Steve of Kumasi FM had this to say about the coach.
"Coach Ignatius' statement was needless. There was no need for making such comments after the game. At the end of the day, what was the score? He is an attention seeker. He should desist from such acts." -Steve, Kumasi FM.
