AstraZeneca is safe; first jab provides 76% protection against coronavirus - GHS allays fears

"There is no antibody that gives 100 insurance," the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service said this in a meeting with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' program Monday morning.

Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye spread the word about this while examining the viability of the COVID-19 antibodies in checking the sickness.

He noticed that, albeit no antibody gives 100% assurance against any sickness, they are the most secure avoidance or fix.

He accepted the nation will have returned to typical soon as the populace is immunized.

Addressing the primary portion of the antibodies gave a month prior, Dr. Kuma Aboagye expressed that the individuals who have gotten the AstraZeneca immunization have satisfactory assurance against the sickness.

He uncovered that AstraZeneca is 76% compelling against COVID-19 disease and subsequently urged the general population to profit themselves for the immunization punch when the public authority at last ties down antibodies to cover the whole country.

"Up until this point, there is no immunization that gives 100% insurance . . . for an immunization, even 50% is sufficient. In the event that a bigger populace are to be half inoculated, it is adequately defensive," he expressed.

He was loaded with trust that Ghana will vanquish the illness.
