Check out the 6 matches coming up in the GPL on Sunday

Reigning Ghana Premier League, GPL champions Accra Hearts of Oak will continue with the defence of their title when they host Dreams FC this afternoon.

The Phobians will be home at the Accra Sports Stadium to welcome the relegation threatened side in a GPL Matchday 27 encounter in the capital.

The Matchday 27 action stared on Saturday in Sogakope and Techiman with leaders Asante Kotoko earning a slim 1-0 win over WAFA at the Red Bull Arena whilst Eleven Wonders and Accra Great Olympics drew goalless at Techiman.

Hearts of Oak will look to record a win in this fixture against a Dreams FC side that has not been that impressive on their travels this season.

The Phobians will be strong favourites to collect the three points as they seek to move up the table with eight games to end the campaign.

Also on Sunday, second placed Bechem United will be quests to King Faisal Babes at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi as they seek to keep pressure on leaders Asante Kotoko.

King Faisal are hovering around the relegation zone and, they will need the points to boost their survival hopes.

Real Tamale United, RTU will welcome Accra Lions to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale where they will look to build on their recent good form as they seek to avoid the drop.

Accra Lions has impressed in their outings lately and, they will prove to be stubborn opposition to breakdown.

Legon Cities will be strong favourites to collect the three points against bottom side Elmina Sharks at the El-Wak Military Sports Stadium in Accra.

Cities have been on good form lately and, it will be hugely surprising if they fail to win this fixture against the relegation strugglers.

Another side on form is AshantiGold SC and, they will be at home at the Len Clay Stadium, Obuasi to host Berekum Chelsea in a fixture they are favoured to win.

Karela United will also be huge favourites to win as they host Bibiani Gold Stars at the Crossby Awuah Memorial, CAM Park at Anyinase.

Gold Stars are still in search of a first away win in this, their debut campaign and, they are the underdogs in this fixture.

A huge battle will be fought at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park at Dormaa Ahenkro on Monday where Medeama SC will play as the away side against Aduana FC.

The two sides are equally marched and, it will be interesting to see how they cancel each other out in this fixture.
