He Has Done Well: Ghanaians Support Delegate Who Has Gone Missing After Commonwealth Games

Ghanaians have massively lauded the Ghanaian delegate who has gone missing in Birmingham following the 2022 Commonwealth Games, according to police.

Ghanaians believe that it's in the right direction that the Ghanaian delegate took off because of the difficult situation of livelihood in the country and the need to find greener pastures somewhere and not in a country where everything seems to be on a stand still.

According to police report it was revealed that a total of 17 athletes and delegates have been reported missing since the start of the Games.

Nine of the 17 missing people have been found while eight remain unaccounted for. Of the missing eight, two are said to be Pakistani boxers aged 22 and 25, named in media reports as Suleman Baloch and Nazeer Ullah Khan.

Five others are from the Sri Lankan squad and one is a delegate from Ghana. The number included 13 competitors and four others who were part of the individual teams.

Here are comments generated from Ghanaians supporting the move of the Ghanaian in question:

• He did the best thing ever in his life! Return to Ghana for what? No employment, no proper health care, no proper schools, everything is not proper in Ghana. Good luck bro.

• Gone to look for greener pastures, gone to look for work and you are there saying missing. Stay there and don't run away you will come back and meet Ghana.

• So now people can't run away in peace why does this government want to stress our lives like that track him with the Ghana card err since it's become critical?
