Accra Hearts of Oak will play their first match in the CAF Champions League against CL Kamsar today at 3:00pm at the Accra Sports Stadium. This will be their first appearance in 6 years and would like to prove why they are the champions of the Ghana premier league on the international stage.
Ahead of the classic encounter, CAF has announced a stadium ban for all fans and order for the match to be played behind closed doors. This is believed to be as a result of the spike in corona virus infections in the country.
CAF had initially ordered for the double leg tie to be played just once at the Accra Sports Stadium due to security reasons and the Coup d'état happening in Guinea.
This will come as a huge blow for the fans as they were eager to see their team in action on an international stage after a long 6 years wait.
However, the fans must not worry. The match will be telecast live on TV by the nations broadcaster, GTV and it will be shown on GTV Sports plus.
Fans who do not have GTV Sports plus on their Television channels can also watch the match live on the social media pages of Accra Hearts of Oak.
