I Can Guarantee A Different Black Stars And A Win Today - GFA President

The President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku has stated that he can guarantee a different Black Stars in today’s game against the Warriors of Zimbabwe. He added the team will battle for all points in the crucial fixture.

“We are all in good mood. I think how i feel is expressed in my face. I feel extremely confident that the boys will do well. I can guarantee a different Black Stars. A team that will fight. I wish you could take a walk into the block of Ghana and you can feel it.” He told JoyNews.

Kurt Okraku makes these remarks on the backdrop of recent results churned out by the Black Stars of Ghana. Many Ghanaians are on the verge of losing interest in the Senior National team. His message delivers hope and confidence for Milovan Rajevac and his charges. Largely, the Black Stars will be motivated having received such a monumental backing from the leader of Ghana’s football governing body.

Kurt Okraku further emphasized the need for Black Stars to claim all points in Cape Coast this afternoon. He sees the National team springing up above the ordinary under a new coach.

“We have to win and be able to win to get to the promised land. I think that our National team is on the rise. We go into today’s game with different expectations. We will win today. I want to be in Qatar.”

The winning mentality articulated by the President is an important ingredient in the aspirations of Black Stars. Under a new coach, a convincing victory obviously spells what his intentions are. Having won against Ethiopia and lost to South Africa last month, Black Stars of Ghana cannot afford to encounter a disappointing outcome this time around.

Whiles going through the final moments this morning, Milovan Rajevac and the entire players will be reminded by the words of Kurt Okraku. This does not in any way invite and undue pressure on the players, having gone through the mill to get to this stage of their career. The stakes are high for the team and numerous followers, hence there is little or no room for a slip.

Already, team skipper Dede Ayew revealed how poised the players are for this afternoon’s engagement. It tells that all stakeholders are aware of what to do and they are diligently working to meet the ultimate target of a win and qualification.
