Hudson-Odoi revealed that, he had a neurological problem

Hudson-Odoi was injured in the early March and cut short his season's progression. Doctors thought it was an Achilles tendon problem, but it turned out to be a neurological injury.

Speaking to Chelsea's official media, the player said it was weird. "It was a neurological thing where I had a twisted nerve in my back and it spread throughout my body, so it made it difficult to move my muscles, "he explained.

"I really had no strength in my legs. I was trying to pass the ball ten yards but i had no strength", he continued.

Hudson-Odoi reflected on this and indicated that it may have been "something after the corona virus in December." The problem started with my Achilles tendon and then i was trying to use other parts of my body to compensate," he recalled.

"I was trying to find another way to run but everything is fine now".
