Football Insider has revealed that a lot of Chelsea stars are hugely unhappy with the boss' training methods. According to them the high intensity of their training sessions have resulted into the injury problems that was a big factor in their FA cup defeat to Arsenal.
Three Chelsea players were hauled off injured in the defeat to Arsenal in Saturday’s game together with an injury crisis that had already ruled out key first team stars.
It has been reported that many senior players believe Lampard and his coaching staff work them too hard and their injury prevention methods have not been at top level.
They have made it known to friends that fatigue has resulted into the great amount of injuries in recent weeks that totally ruined Saturday’s showpiece as well as their Champions League clash against Bayern.
Lampard has however blamed the heavy and packed schedules in recent times as the reason for frequent injuries to his star players.
He has suggested the thought that Chelsea's opening fixture next season should be pushed a bit further due to the pending match against Bayern Munich and the fact that some key players might not be fit before 12 September.
