Ghana Tops ABU Championship In All Categories

There's always something special about Ghana and seems to be the only stable country in west Africa, making it difficult to hate it people although we have challenges and look small in number but mightier in almost everything talk about boxing, soccer, Pan-africanism and music.

Following the list of African Boxing Union champions, Ghana is making waves as we top all categories in the continent.

The African Boxing Union (ABU) is a professional boxing governing body that sanctions championship bouts in Africa. The Number of African boxing Union (ABU) champions in all categories combined includes; Heavyweight, welterweight, lightweight, lightweight, cruiserweight, bantamweight, flyweight etc.

Below are the first six countries shining in the continent as Ghana place number one position with the huge points difference;

1.Ghana🇬🇭 : 49 

2.South Africa🇿🇦:34

3.Nigeria🇳🇬: 29

4.Zambia: 12

4.Kenya🇰🇪: 11

5.Uganda🇺🇬 :10

6.Tanzania🇹🇿: 9

No wonder these white ladies are all over Ghanaian men when they travel to Europe and America seems they are naturally fit and robust, very masculine.

This joy can't be complete without the tremendous contributions of the man who gave many boxer sleepless night in Africa and the world as a whole, Azumah Nelson we are proud of you and to the Bukom brothers we say ayekoo and keep burning the banku. "Everybody say banku ebaaaa". Your contributions has made Ghana to be the only African country with a boxing league.

Sadly Ghana is missing from the top 10 Latest Africa Female Basketball Ranking. The Ministry of Sports should give equal attention the female basketball as well.
