Amankwah Mireku reveals why he is not going to the Hearts of Oak camp

The former skipper and CAF Champions League winning team member for the Accra Hearts of Oak team.

Some years pass by the team has passed through a lot of transition and the standard of the team degraded to a low level.

It is the hard work of the players that sort them to the finals and absolutely won. It is the best kind of team every fan will be excited to have.

From the days of Amankwah Mireku who led the Phobians to win the Champions League trophy for the first time and went ahead to win the treble.

The connection the supporters are expecting from the players are well positioned.

In the way some of the Phobians have positioned the ex-players is not the best. On an interview with a radio pundit, he said

“Hearts of Oak team have an entity that is leading them. The team have its own direction to which they are moving.

This kind of tournament needs the former players who have passed through this rank to be their advisors to some point in time.

But they don’t get closer to us and always we can’t be begging to go to the players camp.

These are some of the things they are not doing right. Although, they have a good team and we pray for them to go as far as they can”.
