Otto Addo has disclosed that Dortmund will allow him to continue to coach the Black Stars.

The former Black Stars player became the preferred gaffer to the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah when he gave him a birthday present by qualifying Ghana for the Mundial for the first time as a President of the land.

In a video that went viral by the first gentleman of the land speaking to Otto Addo that he would not be allowed to go back to his employers in Germany.

The former player of Black Stars was appointed together with Chris Hughton, George Boateng, and Masud Didi Dramani in qualifying the Black Stars for the Mundial.

The interim manager for the national team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier playoff against Nigeria had disclosed to 3news that he desires to continue as a coach but Ghana Football Association has to negotiate with Dortmund since he has a binding contract with them.

“I am meeting with my bosses [Dortmund] on Thursday to discuss the Black Stars job and the possibility of continuing with them. Sure [I am willing to do Black Stars job] but I have to discuss the contract. I have a good relationship [with Dortmund] so I hope they will allow me to continue to coach the Black Stars. Hopefully [I will be able to work with Dortmund and Black Stars at the same time].”

Otto Addo revealed in an interview last Thursday afternoon that GFA’s general secretary, Prosper Harrison Addo has confirmed to JoySports that Otto Addo will be announced once conclusions are reached.
