The 19-year-old was Ghana’s hero at the CAF U-20 Championship in Mauritania.
His brace in the finals against Uganda ensured Ghana won its fourth Africa Youth Championship title after a 2-0 victory over the Young Cranes.
Barnieh has equally been in fantastic shape for club, Accra Hearts of Oak in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League prior to his call up to the Black Satellites.

The two are expected to play a key role in coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side.
