Asante Kotoko remain calm and focused ahead of crucial GPL encounter with red-eyed Eleven Wonders

Ghana Premier League, GPL, leaders Asante Kotoko remain calm and focused as they prepare for their next game, looking to continue with their good run.

The Porcupines will be away to Eleven Wonders at the Ohene Ameyaw Park, Techiman on Monday where they will look to preserve their eight points lead at the top of the stairs.

This GPL Matchday 21 encounter has all the attractions of a tension packed game, as Kotoko will be playing against a side that has their backs on the wall as they seek to retain their elite division status.

However, the Porcupines are staying focused ahead of this game, with head coach Prosper Nartey Ogum saying they are taking the games as they come.

The team continues to prepare for their visit to the Bono region for their next fixture after they thrashed Bibiani Gold Stars 5-0 in their last game.

Coach Ogum has taken training all week, and, they will continue to shape up ahead of the tie looking to build on the positive karma blowing in their camp.

Club captain Abdul Ganiyu has returned to training after sitting out the game with Gold Stars through injury and, will be available for selection on Monday.

Competition for places in the team is intense, and, this has become a headache for the Prosper Ogum headed technical team.

However, the gaffer seems to get it right on match-days, and, the Kotoko faithful will hope that gets going again going into this fixture against the relegation strugglers.
