Belgium and England clashed in the UEFA Nations League and it was one that was supposed to be an interesting clash because the fiery Belgium went against the Weird England thanks to Southgate's strange strategy. It however turned out as an otherwise sad Match. The highlights are below.
The first half was loaded with goals but only from one side. England conceded a goal by Tielemans at the 10th minute to boost the score to 1 - 0 for Belgium. England seems to have taken a dip now even in the presence of Harry Kane.
They scored another goal by Mertens at the 23rd minute. That was how the game played out. It was an awesome goal from Mertens to make the scoreboard read 2 - 0 before even 45 minutes. That's impressive from Belgium.
Lukaku was on the verge of scoring a 3rd goal but it was denied by England's goalkeeper.
The second half came and still no results from England. They were subdued by the awesomeness of Belgium and they lost 3 points to Belgium sadly.
Even Jack Grealish couldn't do anything. Moreso, the Belgian and a legendary free lick taker De Bruyne was hardly used for Belgium and that was just unfair. A Belgium fans reacted that they hate him Because of reasons best known to him.
