La Liga

It's here again as Real Madrid host Barcelona in El Clasico this Saturday

Barcelona will be playing Real Madrid this Saturday at Santiago in what is set to be one of the most crucial El Clasico meetings in recent memory with both sides closing on Atletico Madrid at the top of the La Liga table. The Catalans, are unbeaten 19 league games and they look forward to win this crucial match to continue with their dominance, while third place Real Madrid are three points behind after closing the gap from 10 points in February. Madrid look very confidence in this game after their massive 3-1 victory over Liverpool in their UEFA Champions League quarter final first leg on Tuesday. Madrid's front Karim Benzema has stated that they need to keep Lionel Messi, who is currently having 12 goals in his last 10 league appearance, out of the game if they really wants to get the three points. "It will be tough game against a side who like todominate the ball", Benzema said. Barcelona is looking forward to win this particular game because they cannot afford to lose both home and away games to Real Madrid. The home team will play the match without their fantastic and injured captain Sergio Ramos Garcia and his centre back partner Raphael Varane who is in isolation following his positive test for Covid-19. However Eden Hazard and Daniel Carvajal could both return and it's good to see them back especially Eden Hazard. This match is going to be very very tough for Real Madrid even though they are the host team, because the Barca team is coming with a strong mentality of winning this game by all means. They will do everything possible to prevent the Madrid team from beating them home and away this season.
