Black Galaxies arrive safely in Benin for second leg CHAN qualifier on Sunday

Ghana's locally based national football team, the Black Galaxies have arrived safely in Cotonou, Benin for the second leg CHAN qualifier.

The game will be played at the national stadium in the capital of Benin on Saturday afternoon.

The Black Galaxies lead 3-0 from the first leg encounter played at the Cape Coast Stadium last Sunday, and, the will go through to the next stage of the qualifiers if they avoid a four goal defeat.

The team left Accra on Friday morning and safely arrived in Cotonou later in the day to continue with their preparations for the game.

Coach Annor Walker's side will look to preserve their first leg advantage to qualify to the next round as Ghana seeks to make it to the CHAN tournament next year.

They are in high spirits of gaining the ticket to the next round after their resounding victory in the last encounter.

The winner in this two-legged affair will play Nigeria in a final playoff for qualification to the main tournament in Algeria next year.

Ghana last played at the CHAN tournament in 2014 where they finished second to Libya in the grand finale when South Africa hosted the competition.
