Confirmed: Inaki Williams Decides To Play For Black Stars Of Ghana, Ready To Play Matches

Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams has confirmed his switch to play for Black Stars of Ghana. The 28 year old made the confirmation via a video posted on his official Twitter page.

In the video, Inaki Williams eulogized the sort of training given him from his younger age. He recalled some of the moments he went through from the beginning and how life has taught him several lessons. He went further to reveal his admiration to join and defend Ghana.

”I will defend Ghana’s T-shirt.” Inaki Williams noted in the video.

He added, “I am one of the Black Stars.”

Inaki Williams and his brother were reported to have started paperwork to be eligible to play for the Senior National team Black Stars of Ghana. The duo arrive in Ghana weeks ago and it is reported that they had some official engagements about their decision to represent Ghana in coming months. The latest decision has generated wild response on social media.

Black Stars of Ghana are part of African teams that will make appearance in the global football competition in Qatar later this year. Coach Otto Addo and his henchmen look forward to putting together a formidable team to make a good show and impact at the prestigious showpiece. The decision to switch nationality from Spain to Ghana may be a good one for coach Otto Addo and his deputies in their quest to make a better case.
