"We should appreciate"- Coach CK Akonnor laments after Ghana's bitter defeat against Sudan
The senior national team of Ghana, blackstars ended their superb run in the AFCON qualifiers after tasting a last minute 1-0 defeat against Sudan.
Apparently the team have played and won their first three games bagging five goals and not conceding a single goal.
With the Ghana conceding a last minute goal in our second leg against Sudan, most Ghanaians are worried how the team couldn't manage at least a draw.
Well on a live sports show on Wontumi radio today, host of the show, Abou Diaby discussed with coach CK Akonnor his thoughts on the match.
With the coach enumerating how better his players played to his tactics till the very last minute, coach CK Akonnor informed Ghanaians to appreciate the players performance.
Highlighting out how well players like Alexander Djiku and Tarique-Fosu played in the game he had satisfactory results as he didn't take the results from the score sheet alone but rather how better the team played.
In my opinion, a single match lost isn't the end of the team and that I'm very optimistic the team will qualify for the 2023 AFCON.
