Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak completed an impressive 6-0 victory over lower tier side GAP Academy in a friendly played on Wednesday afternoon ahead of their crucial CAF Confederation Cup game at the weekend.
The Phobians, are preparing to host Malian side AS Real Bamako on Sunday in a second leg second preliminary round encounter.
The Ghanaian giants, trail 3-0 from the first leg tie, and they will be seeking to overturn the result to book a place in the next round of the campaign as they host the Malians on Sunday.
Today's friendly, played at Hearts' Pobiman Sports Complex, served as a confident booster for the Phobians as they prepare for Real Bamako on Sunday.
Hearts' goals in this club friendly, were scored by Samuel Inkoom, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Isaac Mensah who scored a brace, Gideon Asante and Fatawu Mohammed.
They will hope that this performance lifts them up for the game on Sunday against Real Bamako at the Accra Sports Stadium as they seek to advance to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup competition.
