Gama scored the only goal of the match in the 22nd minute after heading home a Patrick Asmah cross.
The goal is the Brazilian’s 3rd in the 2020/21 Ghana premier league season.
The 28-year-old also won man-of-the-match in the AshantiGold game but admits the Miners were a tough customer.
“Tough game for everybody.
“They have a good team, so we had to show more to get the win today.
“They have a good team, I told the coach [Thomas Duah], so they are young boys and they will fight to the end.
“So they are good and we had to improve more to get the win today.” Fabio Gama said.
The Porcupine Warriors are now on 50 points, same as rivals Hearts of Oak who drew 1-1 with Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.
