He was yet shipped to USL club, New York Red Bulls on loan for half a season but returned to Red Bull Salzburg afterwards.
Tetteh said about his desire to settle with a club permanently.
“Of course, I have played here [Austria] for five years and everybody wants a change.
“Everyone wants to move to a new team at some point in his career.
“I think I also want that for me and what I just need to do is to regain my form back and try to score a lot of goals for the club.
“We will see in the summer what comes up next, that is the idea, to move to a new team and to sign for a new team permanently, so we just hope and pray that everything goes on well this season and we will see what happens in the summer.”Samuel Tetteh told Adamu Muftawu.
Tetteh has so far played three games for his new club, St. Polten, two by way of substitute and a start in a friendly game.
They occupy 8th on the league table with 15 games and on 16 points.
