The 23-year old striker, has signed a two-year renewable deal with the record Ghana champions ahead of the new season.
And, the former Uganda Revenue Authority FC player said, he is happy to have signed for the Porcupines and is waiting to play his first game.
"I am excited to have signed for Asante Kotoko and, I will do my very best for the club during my stay in Ghana," Mukwala told the club's media.
He added: "I am happy with the warm reception shown me by all since I arrived in Ghana and, I look forward to reposing the trust imposed in me by the club; I promise to offer the very best towards ensuring that we achieve success together."
The player will join the Asante Kotoko pre-season campaign which starts this week in Kumasi as they begin preparations for the defence of the Ghana Premier League, GPL title they won last season.
Asante Kotoko will also seek to win the FA Cup competition and the CAF Champions League competition next season.
The Porcupines will later this month head to Turkey to continue with their preparations for the 2022/23 season which starts in September this year.
