Ghanaian representative in the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup, AshantiGold, has departed the country for Burkina Faso, for their CAF Confederation preliminary stage second leg qualifier against Salitas.
The Obuasi based club had a contingent made up of twenty players, seven technical men and seven club officials.
Goalkeeper Robert Dabuo, Empem Dacosta Abdul Bashiru, Appiah McCarthy, HansKwoffie are some of the players who made the trip, whiles Coach Milovan Cirkovi, Thomas Duah and Isaac Amoako are some members from the technical team. Clubs officials consisted of Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, Emmanuel Frimpong Yaw Asabere and others.
AshantiGold, was held to a goalless draw at home to Salitas in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup at Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
Nigerian Referee, Abubakar Abdullahi, appointed as center referee, will be assisted by Efosa Celestine Igudia (Assistant I), Abdulmajeed Olaide (Assistant II) and Joseph Odey Ogabor (Fourth Official).
The game, scheduled for Saturday December 5, will take place at the Stade DU 4 AOUT in Ouagadougou.
