Startimes vs. Kotoko: It's becoming too much for a mere incompetence. GFA must call them to order.

Do you still believe that packaging isn't the real deal to earn respect? Look at how Startimes treat the various league broadcasts and compare with what they give to us. We won't be surprised if they get their maximum profit, with respect to the investment, from the Ghana Premier league. They charge us more for their least effort.

Anytime there's a controversy in a game and fans need a replay to make better judgment, Startimes always fail us. A typical example is the Kotoko-Karela match yesterday. Evans Adomako's goal was ruled offside in the early minutes of the game. The video of the incident, either during the game or in the highlights, gives no better angle for a convenient review of the situation. It is now clear our referees don't improve because their supervisory body doesn't even get concise footages to enhance their role.

Startimes don't need to cause havoc to our dear league because of their incompetence or affiliation. In our league, we know there's no VAR to review controversies in live matches. How then do Startimes decide where or when to bring up tapes to assist referees? The GFA might be genuinely innocent of that case, but they have already been dragged into the mess.

From the start of the league, fans have kept complaining about this issue. The GFA must revisit the contract and ensure our official broadcaster provides an excellent service.
