While performing club duties at Dortmund, Black Stars head coach Otto Addo may be going through some thinking as to what to do for his players, who are confronted with limited playing time at respective clubs. What has made the situation seemingly unbearable is the fact that, these players would start games for Black Stars if any international game is to be honored today.
Taking a stock of his regular players in relation to club performance would definitely not come as an easy spectacle for Otto Addo, who looks to make better impression at the global football competition.
Is it possible for coach Otto Addo to have a word with the various coaches of his players? It will be extremely impractical for the Black Stars head coach to get to visit coaches and demand answers for lack of playing time for his players. The right to choose which player to play, at what point in time, is the exclusive right of those club coaches.
Similar thing could happen if Otto Addo decides to invite a player and does not give him playing time. The practical option available for Otto Addo in this dire minutes is to contact those players involved in the worrying condition in an attempt to solicit answers and proffer solutions.
Time is of essence for both the coach and the players, demanding that the situation improves as soon as time could permit, for them to earn match fitness for World Cup.
All factors considered, If those Black Stars players continue to occupy bench and do not play as much as they are supposed to, then the coach could be compelled to improvise by looking at other options.
The demands of the job at hand and the materials to be used to get the job executed must form the basis for whatever thinking coach Otto Addo will do as the prestigious tournament approaches.
