On 29th October 2021, the GPL will kickstart with 18 teams seeking to snatch the ultimate laurel.
Unlike last season, there has been no team that has come out to claim superiority ahead of the 21/22 league season but some fans of Kumasi Asante Kotoko believe that they have the ability to win the league despite the flaws of the team last season.
The reason is simple, some fans who believe in spiritualism have the belief that Kumasi Asante Kotoko would have emerged victorious if they had maintained Maxwell Konadu or Johnson Smith as the head coach last season for the club.
It is their believe that the club lost the league because they employed Mariano Barreto.
This season, the club will start the league another local coach and they are optimistic that they will win the league.
There is one thing that supporters of the club don’t know, that the there are various teams with local coaches and it does not give a hundred percent guarantee to these clubs.
