Toni Kroos, German national midfielder retires from international football.

The German international midfielder and also real madrid's midfielder took to instagram to announce his retirement from international football. Toni Kroos has showed up for the German national team for eleven good years and has made a very great impact on the team.

He can mostly be remembered for his passes, most especially his long passes and outside the eighteen yard box shts and most importantly his superb assists. On the 2nd of July, a few days after Germany was knocked out of the UEFA Euros by England, the german international posted some pictures of himself in the German colours with a very captivating caption.

Toni's words were, "I played for Germany twice. There won't be another time. I would have hoped for it, and i gave it all again that there would have been 109 internationals in the end, and that one big title, the European Championship title, would have come to the end. I had made the decision after this tournament for a long time. I realized for a long time that i am not available for the 2022 world cup in Qatar. Especially because i want to focus fully on my goals with Real Madrid for the next few years. From now on, i will also deliberately take breaks that haven't existed as a national player for eleven years. And besides i also want to be there more as a husband and a father for my wife and my three kids. It was a great honour to have been able to wear this jersey for a long time. I did this with passion. Thanks to all the fans and supporters who carried me with their support and cheers and thanks to all the critics for their extra motivation".

Tony ended by thanking Jogi Low who made him a national player and also sends greetings to Hans Flick, former Bayern Munchen coach who is now coach of the German national team.
