Huge boost for coach Samuel Boadu as his remarkable striker is back from injury

The striker has been consistent of goals last season for Hearts of Oak SC. 2020/21 top scorer for Hearts of Oak, Obeng Junior has return from injury on the Matchday 33 game against Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports Stadium last season.

Samuel Boadu has been preparing for CAF Champions league without his top scorer and this will serve as a major boost ahead of the much anticipated tie against WAC of Morocco next match.

The former Nea Salamina striker on Wednesday started working on his full fitness at the training grounds. Obeng Junior missed Hearts of Oak 2-0 win over Kamsar last Sunday and may be available for next month as the Phobians come face to face with WAC at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Junior was phenomenal for Hearts of Oak in their double winning, scoring 11 games in all competitions for the club.

Meanwhile, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen has also resume training after an injury lay-off since February 2021. Aziz also commenced light training with Phobians after long time return from the sideline.

The young player has been on a lot of trials and been around Europe top team like Barcelona. He is a product of the boards decision and joined Hearts with a lot of trust but he is yet to execute his tactics.

The player made few appearances as the coaches that came to take over the team was not able to use him to perfection. We saw him play the holding role under Nii Odoom and Papic time but it wasn’t the best.

We except a lot from the young prodigy who have been respected and given a lot of chances to give some final passes to assist Obeng Junior and Barnieh to score more goals. Now that he is warming himself in the position of the role then Kofi Kordzi and Agyenim Boateng should tighten their boot to get the out of the team

As at now he has worked on his mistakes and ready to punish any team that will come their way.
