Just In: Odartey Lamptey Resigns As Elmina Sharks Coach

Information reaching this portal from Elmina in the Central Region confirms that the Ghanaian former professional footballer who happens to be a proprietor of a school in Accra called Glow-Lamp International School as well the current manager of Elmina Sharks, Nii Odartey Lamptey has left his post as interim coach of Elmina based football club.

This was made known in the news today Thursday, April 21, 2021 by AngelSports. What triggered the head coach of the Elmina Sharks to have vacated his post isn't clear but was on record citing personal reasons.

Odartey Lamptey has been a fantastic coach right after two months of joining Elmina Sharks, a club competing in the 2020/2021 Ghanaian Premier League having their home games played at Nduom Sports Stadium, he played 4 matches, winning 3 (Kotoko, Dwarfs and WAFA) and a defeat against Liberty.

Currently the Sharks are sit at the12th position on the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League table with 26 points.
