Milovan Rajevac's 27-man squad released ahead of World Cup qualifiers match with Zimbabwe

The Senior National team, Black Stars of Ghana, will be heading towards Capecoast today, Tuesday October 5, 2021 to begin their closed door training at the CapeCoast stadium.

The training is to prepare towards this month’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers against the Warriors of Zimbabwe.

Reports coming in indicates that some five players haven't been added to Milovan Rajevac's team which the Ghana FA has also agreed to.

The five players include Mubarak Wakaso, Alfred Duncan, Tariqe Fosu, Ismail Abdul Ganiu and Emmanuel Gyasi.

However, the 27-man squad that is headed by Coach Milovan Rajevac for the CapeCoast game include:

GoalKeepers- Lawrence Ati Zigi, Richard Arthur, Ibrahim Danlad, Joojo Walcott,

Defenders- Philemon Baffour, Andrew Yiadom, Gideon Mensah, Baba Abdul Raman, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Jonathan Mensah, Alexander Djiku.

Midfielders- Thomas Partey, Baba Iddrisu, Emmanuel Lomotey, Mohammed Kudus, Majeed Ashmero, Kofi Kyere, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku

Strikers- Andre Dede Ayew, Jordan Ayew, kamaldeen Sulemana, Yaw Yeboah, Samuel Owusu, Joel Fameye, Caleb Ekuban qnd Benjamin Tetteh.

The Black Stars of Ghana will play Zimbabwe this month in a doubleheader with the 1st leg set for Cape Coast on Saturday, October 9, 2021.

The match is scheduled for 1600Hrs GMT.
