Champion club Asante Kotoko has completed their first training session at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi ahead of this Sunday's African Champions League game.
The Porcupines, will host Burkina Faso champions Rail Club de Kadiogo at that venue in a second leg preliminary round encounter, leading 1-0 from the first leg tie played in Cotonou, Benin on Monday.
Asante Kotoko, trained at the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday afternoon and, they will train again for more rituals on Friday morning and in the afternoon ahead of the game on Sunday.
The club has announced that Coach Seydou Zerbo will hold a presser tomorrow morning on their preparations for the game on Sunday and other details going forward this season.
Kotoko will go into the encounter as the odds on favourites to advance to the next stage of the competition after their heroics of last Monday in Benin as they posted the win.
The record Ghana champions are looking to make it to the group phase of the competition as they aim to win the title for the first time since 1983.
