Either that or continue to pay his high demanding wages through the sacrifice of other players in the team. The list is reported to have players like, Ousmane Dembele, Carles Alena, Junior Firpo, Martin Braithwaite and Riqui Puig.
Barca are also reported to be looking to add to the stable players that will not cost them too much after the release of the listed players. They are looking at bringing in Eric Garcia from Manchester City and Memphis Depay from France’s Lyon.
It is still not a secret that Messi wanted to leave Barca in August and was turned down by former president Josep Maria Bartomeu. It remains to be seen if the player still wants to leave or stay. At the end of the season he will have a choice as his contract comes to an end.
