Barcelona’s return to Camp Nou came with a victory taking their unbeaten home streak to 39 matches. Goals from the 17 year old wonderkid, Ansu Fati and Lionel Messi saw Barcelona tighten their hands on the La Liga title.
Leganes at the start of the game pressed Barcelona to the extent of almost finding the net twice in the first half. Barcelona now turned the game around after Ansu Fati found the net at the 42nd Minute, 3 minutes to halftime.
Griezmann could have made it 2-0 at the 64th minute but his goal was disallowed after Semedo who gave him the assist was later found offside.
It didn’t take long before Messi scored from a penalty spot at the 69th minute of the game. Five Barcelona players entered the book in the last 10 minutes but overall, a good day at work for the home team.
However, angry fans blasted Barcelona Star Antoine Griezmann despite a 2-0 win against Leganes. According to them, Ansu Fati is a suitable replacement in the first team for him.
See the post of an angry fan:
He said that Griezmann man should be exchanged for just 50 Ghanaian pesewas, which can only get you sweets in Ghana.
Griezmann signed for Barcelona in the 2019 summer transfer for a whooping fee of €120 million with a five year deal keeping him until 2024.
Since then, he has only managed to score 14 goals and has provided 4 assists after appearing 39 times for Barcelona in all competitions this season.
As it stands now, Barcelona fans want the 120 million Euros signing out as they favour Ansu Fati over him.
See post below of how fans reacted after the game:
Barcelona are now five points clear at the top of the La Liga table while Real Madrid will aim to trim the gap when they face Valencia at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano on Thursday, this performance illustrated the size of their task to chase down the leaders.
