Laryea Kingston and Yaw Acheampong are the favorite candidates to take over Accra Hearts of Oak vacant coaching job, reliable sources have hinted. Coach Yaw Acheampong, according to plans, will join the Phobians via out of contract settlement with Elmina Sharks.
The former winger of Accra Hearts of Oak is in line to start as soon as possible. Contacts have been made and he is willing to step in and salvage the dwindling fortunes of his former club.
If everything goes well, he will be at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday to catch a glimpse of proceedings, as Hearts come into action with Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs. After that, he will be introduced to the playing body as an assistant coach/head coach.
Whiles on board, he the search for his superior will continue.
The former Black Stars speedster is seen as addition from old players block, as was reported earlier. It is understood, this time around management and board are ready to include a tactician from the old players of Accra Hearts of Oak.
Coach Yaw Acheampong
Head coach of Elmina Sharks is on the radar of the Oak tree. The board of directors are willing to acquire him out of contract. Per reports, coach Yaw Acheampong has almost twelve months left on his contract with the Elmina-based side.

His knowledge about the local game, will play a major role for Hearts in the quest to turn things around.
In the ongoing campaign, Yaw Acheampong’s Elmina Sharks have amassed 17points, level with Accra Hearts of Oak, who have an outstanding game against arch rivals Asante Kotoko.
He will be working with Laryea Kingston barring any hindrances.
