Young and prolific defender for a Ghanaian Premier League giant set to make a permanent move

Ibrahim Imoro who was born on 2nd 0ctober, 1999 is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Ghanaian Premier League side Asante Kotoko S.C. He is one of the young and promising left back in the league currently. He has assisted his side to win numerous matches.His presence in the game has been also beneficial to the porcupine royals.

Imoro started his career with Windy Professionals.He was signed by 2017 Ghana Premier League  newly promoted side Bolga All Stars. Bolga All stars placed last and were relegated from the league, but Imoro was one of their standout players within season.He was linked to Asante Kotoko during the transfer season, but he was eventually signed on a one-year loan contract by Nzema side Karela United FC for the 2018 Ghana Premier league Season.

In December 2019, Imoro was signed by Asante Kotoko from Thunder FC after training with the team for two week, on a 4-year long term contract ahead of the 2019-20 season. He has also had stint with thunder FC. Swedish giants IFK Goteborg have shown interest in signing the left back.

The club is ready to offer €150,000 for the talented left-back for his services from the Porcupine Warriors. The club representative was in Ghana to hold talks with the player's representatives.A deal has already been reached and the left-back will be joining the Swedish side at the end of the season.

Imoro represented the Ghana National team in a 3–2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification win over São Tomé and Príncipe on 28 March 2021.The 19-year old has scored two goals in 19 appearances for Asante Kotoko in the ongoing Ghana Premier League. Kumasi Asante Kotoko take on Legon Cities as their next fixture in the ongoing campaign.
