Kotoko vs Hearts: What to expect and predictions

The Porcupine warriors of Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to lock horns once again with Accra Hearts of Oak in a second leg clash this afternoon at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi today.

The first premier league clash between the two happened last year, with both teams sharing the points. Thereafter, they a few weeks ago in the presidential cup, where the Phobians showed the superiority on the day to lift the cup. It is thus not surprising that this game remains a must win for every Kotoko fan and team member.

Hearts of Oak will be led by coach Samuel Boadu to overcome the Porcupine warriors. They will however miss the expertise of Salifu Ibrahim and veteran player Sulley Muntari, who is said to have travelled out of the country. There is so much on the line for coach Samuel Boadu who is yet to lose a competitive match against Asante Kotoko.

Kotoko will also be looking forward to extending their 13-point league in the Ghana Premier league, and will likely feature the Cameroonian duo, Frank Etouga Mbella and George Mfuege in seeking revenge for their humiliating at the Accra Sports Stadium.

We predict a 1-0 home win for Asante Kotoko. Follow, and tell us your prediction for the match in the comment section.
