
The Ghana Football Association (GFA), after the dismissed of appeal cases filed by Ashantigold SC and Inter Allies against the verdict from the Disciplinary Committee.
As announced by the GFA, the three runners-up for last season’s Division One League from the various zones will compete for the GPL slot.
Dates and fixtures are set for the upcoming play-offs between Liberty Professionals, Ebusua Dwarfs and Tamale City to find a replacement for demoted Ashantigold SC.
Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs will face Liberty Professionals in the opening match of the Three-way all-play-all competition to determine a replacement for the Obuasi-based club.
The second game of the mini-league competition will see Liberty square off with Tamale City.
These pairings were revealed after a draw which was held between the three clubs three clubs at the GFA Secretariat on Monday morning.
The matches will be played from August 4-8, 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
