Read About Hearts of Oak’s Plaudits To Daniel Afriyie Barnieh

Accra Hearts of Oak cannot be happier following the sterling performance of their winger, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh at the CAF U-20 Championship in Mauritania.

Barnieh captained the Black Satellites to Ghana’s 4th Africa Youth Championship glory.

The 19-year-old did not just lead the heroic Satellites to glory but was the hero of the day when Ghana beat Uganda in the finals to clinch the trophy.

The Phobians took to their Twitter handle to shower praises on their prized asset.

The former Madina Republicans forward scored a brace as Ghana beat Uganda 2-0 in the finals of the U20 tournament.

Barnieh who signed for Hearts of Oak from second Division club, Madina Republicans, has been in fine form for the Phobians in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

He has been a hot cake lately with some European clubs showing interest in signing him.

Reports were rife that, he was on the verge of joining French Ligue 2 side, Amiens but the news is yet to be fully confirmed.

It remains to be seen if Barnieh will earn an automatic place in Black Stars coach, Charles Akonnor’s squad for the 2021 AFCON double-header qualifiers against São Tomé and South Africa.
