Kwesi Appiah appointed head coach of Kenpong Football Academy
Former Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah has been appointed as the head coach of the newly formed Kenpong Football Academy. This would be his first job since losing his job as Black Stars coach in January 2020.
Coach Kwesi Appiah a lot of coaching experience. Some of Coach Kwesi Appiah's achievements are below;
1. He led the black meteors to win Gold in the All African games held in Mozambique in 2011.
2. He led Ghana to the World Cup in 2004. He was the first black African Coach to do so
Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the founder of the football academy eulogised their new coach profusely. He said we are proud to have you as our head coach and may God bless your work with Kenpong Football Academy. Francis Oto Akenteng, who is the director of football will support Appiah in his new role as head coach.
