Akaminko missed out on the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil after suffering a horrific ankle injury in a pre World Cup friendly against the Netherlands in Rotterdam.
Akaminko’s career since sustaining has had his career taken downhill but he tells Radio Gold Talk Sports about his career fulfillment.
“So I think I wouldn’t want that get into me and say I regret, no way.
“I think I enjoyed being a footballer and I thank God for being with me this while and making everything happen.” Jerry Akaminko told Radio Gold Talk Sport.
Akaminko is currently without a club after predominant spells in Turkey with Orduspor, Manisaspor Eskisehirspor and Istanbulspor.
