Accra Hearts of Oak were saved on the day by former West Africa Football Academy utility player, Caleb Amankwa at the Baba Yara Spprts Stadium.
The “Super Clash” between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday in the week three of the BetPawa Premier League.
Asante Kotoko shot themselves into the lead through Yussif Mubarak’s 58th minute strike which shocked the Phobians at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday in the week three of the 2022/23 BetPawa Ghana Premier League.
Asante Kotoko’s opener was however cancelled in the second half by Caleb Amankwa who found the equalizer for the Phobians at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Both clubs had had a poor run of form in the Ghana Premier League and the CAF Champions League where the Phobians had only picked a point in their two opening games.
Kotoko on the other hand had been kicked out of the CAF Champions League by Burkina Faso club, Rail Club de Kadiogo.
